Signature Series is the only Paint son of The Signature, a bloodline we believe in. The Signature was a great racehorse in himself, winning 11 stakes races and earning $333,473. But, his real shining to the horse industry comes as a sire. The Signature sired over $11,000,000 worth of Quarter Horse winners.
Some of Signature Series paternal half brothers are First Wrangler, Heza Fast Man, Meter Me Gone, Rare Form and Vital Sign. These great stallions have proven The Signature’s prolific ability as a sire of sires. Signature Series stamps his offspring with the same speed, conformation, and good minds that his siblings do.
Signature Series’ bloodline also excels from his dam’s side, Hoof Tapper. Hoof Tapper was a AAA Quarter Horse daughter of the great Thoroughbred Nublado. Nublado was a paternal half brother to Beduino, the all time leading Thoroughbred sire of Quarter Horses.
One difference between Signature Series and his siblings is color. Sig is a crop-out Paint. This makes him unique because he has two Quarter Horse parents but expresses the overo gene. Therefore, Signature Series is double registered with the American Quarter Horse Association and the American Paint Horse Association (QH registered name is Series Signature). Sigs’ foals resulting from Quarter Horse or Thoroughbred mares are also eligible to be registered with both AQHA and APHA and therefore compete in either breed specific events. |
